Program Options Include:
Immerse yourself in a full body relaxing and rejuvenating experience! As you lie on the mat, you will feel the warmth penetrate your muscles helping your body and mind to relax. Enjoy the healing properties of a BioMat session with a combination of far-infrared light, negative ions and crystals. The Biomat is FDA approved as a device that converts electricity into Far Infrared Rays (FIR). FIR was discovered by NASA to be the safest, most beneficial light waves, as the heat penetrates and increases circulation to skin, muscles, and internal organs.
Benefits of Biomat Therapy:
• Relieves minor muscle or joint pain and stiffness
• Supports immune system, increases tissue oxygen from increased circulation, and reduces inflammation
• Reduces stress and fatigue, and promotes restful and improved sleep
The entire top surface of our professional grade HealthyLine biomat is infused with jewelry grade untreated, unpainted, and crushed natural amethyst, tourmaline, and obsidian gemstones, which are reported to provide healing properties. Amethyst promotes calm, balance and peace. Tourmaline aids in relieving stress, increases mental alertness, improves circulation, and strengthens the immune system. Obsidian draws physical and mental negativity while amplifying the beneficial effects of surrounding stones.
With a light trickling fountain in the background, or music of your choice. Dress comfortably as you’ll have the option to be cozy and comfortable under the covers of our heavenly soft blankets as the infrared rays leave you feeling revitalized and refreshed. Ahh…

Doodling: Art Playdate
Doodling is for any one, artists and non-artists alike! Intuitive creativity is about the process, not the product. You cannot get this wrong!
You know that ‘frazzled nervous system feeling’ that comes when your mind is so busy and you are thinking of a million things at once, and feeling overwhelmed by all the demands of life? That feeling that it’s all “just too much”, and you wish you could get some space for yourself to ‘think”?
In this fun, simple Doodle Session with Brenda Loukes Johnson, you will learn how doodling can help you to:
- relax your mind and body,
- feel more present and centered,
- calm your thinking,
- focus your attention,
- connect you to your True Creativity
- and come up with awesomely creative ideas and solutions to problems – beyond what you could ever have imagined.
What participants say:
“I can express myself, I can lose myself in the moment, I can meditate and calm myself, I can find answer to something, and I can doodle anywhere! I love that I don’t have to have something to show for it at the end.”
“I love feeling when to leave a blank and when to fill one in. I love the feeling of flowing with a thought without judging it. This doodling stuff really does teach you more than just doodling. We should doodle life, it’d be more fun
“This is a wonderful way to let your mind wander and wonder too…. thanks again for opening this door. Your workshop really is powerful.”
“I’m a 35-year-old professional male, and doodling with Brenda was energizing, calming, and surprisingly fun! I felt more inspired to use my creative side and “flow” through the rest of the workday.”

Massage/Bodywork with Aloha Flow
Meditation: Beginner to Advanced
Experience the benefits of meditation through an easeful progression from beginner to advance. The session will start with moving meditation then transition to bodily relaxation, then to breath meditation and into more and more subtle levels of meditation and stillness. Facilitated by spiritual practitioner of 25 years and non-dual renunciate Sonia Weirich C-IAYT
“I liked the progression of going deeper and deeper. When my thoughts became more active, as you instructed, I went back to meditation on breath which always calms me. From there I was able to dip my toe into the deeper meditation you were guiding us into and had my anchor to return to if I needed it.” R.T.

Move& Groove Dance
“We dance to fall in love with the spirit in all things, to wipe out memory or transform it into moves that nobody else can make because they didn’t live it. It’s a sacred thing, the beat. We love beats that move faster than we can think, beats that drive us ever deeper inside, that rock our worlds, break down walls and make us sweat our prayers.
We dance to survive and the beat offers a yellow brick road to make it through the chaos that is the tempo of our times. Chaos is the way of the mind when it is free-styling , winging its way back to an instinctive, intuitive intelligence, the kind we need to survive — not only the real shit going down, but the massive amount of stuff we insist on making up to insure our suffering. God provides, and god don’t need no help. God is the dance and the dance is the way to freedom and freedom is our holy work.
So get down and find out what your hands, your shoulders, your elbows, knees and, most importantly, your hips and feet have to say about it. There is a dance only you can do, that exists only in you, here and now, always changing, always true. Are you willing to listen with fascination? If you are, it will deliver you unto the self you have always dreamed you could be. This is a promise.” -Gabrielle Roth

Amigas Group on Facebook
Amigas is a multicultural community of women who know that there is more that connects us than divides us. We connect to grow meaningful and enriching relationships, create a sense of belonging for everyone, and have fun together.
As we remember our strengths and reconnect with our vibrant selves and each other, we benefit both as individuals and the evolution of our planet as a whole. To quote female role model Mamma Gena, “The joy of life is not simply in serving oneself. The true joy of life is in being able to be a part of a larger community of service, taking one another higher.”
Amigas meets regularly at Cedar Sanctuary to surround each other with the support of sisterhood, community, connection, and inspiration. For more information contact Susan Creighton: firstname.lastname@example.org / 425.298.6428
